Annapurna Trekking
Annapurna Circuit Trek

Annapurna Circuit Trekking is the most famous trekking of Nepal around the Annapurna Mountain range in the Himalayas. The trekking takes you through the terraced hill, forest and alpine pastures and through the villages having different cultures, where you will get a chance to see the magnificent mountain scenery  from a close range. Trek to Annapurna circuit begins at the lovely lakeside resort town of Pokhara or from Besi Sahara and it circles around the Annapurna Massif.  You get to observe the dramatic changes of vegetation, climate and culture and you become aware of being close to Tibet – at the high lands near the town of Jomsom. you will encounter the eye catching panoramic beauty of snow capped mountains. You also trek through some of Nepal’s most lovely rhododendron forest. Besides, you can also capture the views of Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna range, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal.

You find yourself at an altitude of 5, 300 meters when you cross the Throung La Pass. Then you follow the ancient paths used as trade routes between Nepal and Tibet.  The trail offers spectacular mountain scenery that passes through the northern Himalayan range and Tibetan plateau. You will also encounter  the small fields of millet and wheat and small flocks of sheep and goats while passing through the Manang Valley. Here you will see Gurungs, Chhetris, and Newars people and their unique culture and traditions. The majority of the people in this region are Tibetan by origin and Buddhist by religion and traders by occupation.
